Chittagong Royals and Agrabad Masters Make Winning Start in Ariel Amateur Cricket

Chittagong Royals and Agrabad Masters started their Ariel Amateur Cricket Tournament campaign with victories at the Seraj Four H Sports Academy ground on Friday.

In the opening match, Chittagong Royals defeated Cool Warriors by five wickets. Batting first after losing the toss, Cool Warriors scored 140 runs for eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Adnan played an attacking innings of 43 runs from 22 balls, while Saifuddin Titu added 37 runs from 38 balls. For Chittagong Royals, Nazim Uddin was the standout bowler, taking four wickets for 28 runs, while Nantu picked up two wickets.

In reply, Chittagong Royals reached the target in 17.4 overs, losing five wickets. Javed Yusuf led the chase with 42 runs from 31 balls. Ripon took two wickets for Cool Warriors.

In the day's second match, Agrabad Masters earned a comfortable seven-wicket win over Golden Gloves. Golden Gloves, batting first after losing the toss, were all out for 144 runs in 20 overs. Monjur Hasan top-scored with 64 runs, while Fayim, Imran and Rizvi made small contributions.

Agrabad Masters chased down the target in 18 overs for the loss of three wickets. Captain Sumon Saha remained unbeaten on 42 from 28 balls, while Faruk Titu scored 46 and Murad added 30 runs.

The tournament was inaugurated before the matches. Sahadat Uddin Mohammed Sa'dat, CEO of the sponsor organization, general secretary of Seraj Four H Sports Academy and senior deputy general manager of Four H Group, attended as the chief guest. Senior officials, team captains and organizers were also present at the event.
